Play holds an important role in social, cognitive and language development.
Floor-time, a child-led playtime with autistic child has been proven successful in a recent study by York University.
Brain scans show how play helps autistic children become more social.

What have we learn from this?
Le Beaumont Playgroups are children-led and highly interactive.
It shows that this approach is extremely beneficial to a normal child as much as to an autistic child.
A new born baby has over 100 billion neurons, with over 100 trillion synapses, not yet connected.
Social interaction stimulates the wiring of synapses and develop the foundation for social, cognitive and language development.
